Sun, sands and palm groove. What can be more wild and exotic than these three elements. Puerto Rico offers you more than white beach sands n cloudless skies. Surrounded by Carribean sea and North Atlantic ocean, with 270 miles of beaches and 247 days of sunshine this is the perfect holidaying spot.
Below are the list of must visit places and beach:
--San Juan--
The capital of Puerto rico and its main attraction.
-Old san juan-
Old as it sounds but as you walk past the neighboring house, narrow streets, churches and museum you find urself delved in an abstract painting teemed up with youth feel. The place oozes with history and every street had interesting landmarks.
-Camuy river cave park-
I am not that into caves, but this friend of mine said its worth visiting since it involved open roof train ride admidst the green jungle down the cave. Truly it was amazing adventure but lot of caution required while stepping inside the slippery cave.
-Casillo San Fellipe-
Also known as EL morro, a 6 level fort named in the honor of Spain king Phillip II. Seeing the artchitecture one can easily guess it was built to prevent sea attacks by the invaders. Check out the sentry boxes, flags, light house, canon water battery and staircase

-San juan cemetery-
As i made my way out of the Casillo, an orange tomb caught my eye. i moved closer n closer to capture it in my frame, not knowing i was nearing a cemetery. It came as a surprise to me, nothing spectacular than this. In other words this is best and dramatic cemetery i have seen.
-La fortalezza-
If you look closely at the end of colourful housing alley, you see a blue majestic building. That is the La fortalezza, present official resident of the governer of puerto rico.

The town was named after the great river that bathe its lands, Río Grande and is 30 mins away from San Juan. The best part was we stayed in the Wyndham Rio Mar Beach hotel giving us the breathtaking view of Atlantic and Caribbean ocean.

This city is the seat of governement and yet another attractive landmark including the Ponce catheral, Parque de bombass and tribes indigenous ceremonial center.
If you are a snorkelling person then Culebra is calling you. It is located just 17 miles to the east of the "big island" of Puerto Rico,The beaches and coves facing west (the leeward side) have the best snorkeling because land masses block most of the waves that come from the north/northeast.
How to reach?

Zoni Beach is located on the northeastern shore of Culebra
One imp thing, you really need to watch the weather, waves, currents, and rip-tides, as this is the windward side of the island.

You can see the mess wind has done to our hair
This beach is famous for its wide, white-sand beach, and beautiful Caribbean-blue water. But it also has a lot of good snorkeling, just a short swim from the beach. Most people just head in on the main path from the parking lot, and head to the reef a little bit to the left. That’s where you will see a number of people snorkeling.
What to do in Puerto Rico??
-Kayaking is the best and famous adventure not to miss on this island. It is a fully guided night trip into the mangroove and at the touch of your oars into the water you will witness the luminous glow in the darkness filled water. It is actually the Pyrodinium Bahamense which produces light.
