For the beach fans, Miami is the best sub tropical land to dive into sea and get sun tanned.

April 3rd we took off for the Florida's largest metropolitan area, for a relaxing weekend.

Lets summarise in brief things to see:

-South beach
-Lincoln road

-Freedom tower-

Crossing the port of Miami you will see the freedom tower built in 1925, the Freedom Tower was the original headquarters of the Miami News & Metropolis newspaper. It later served as a processing center for Cuban immigrants arriving in South Florida. Thus, it is sometimes called "Miami's Ellis Island." Today, the tower has been restored is regarded as a memorial to the Cuban-American experience. At this point in time, it is only opened for occasional special events.

-Bay side marketplace-

--Hard Rock--

Our most wanted hangout place and this is what makes holiday more special.

Like in every hard rock, this cafe too came out with several surprises including Ricky Martin's signature frame, the B-52's electronic guitar, Whitney Houston's yellow leather jacket, Gloria Estefan's black jacket which she wore in her Bad Boys video, Los Lobos's guitar and the legendary red jacket of MJ which he wore in his video Thriller. One of the few jacket that was made and signed by MJ himself on the front.

Just when you are done with bayside turn around and there are many magnificient ships sailing and offering cruise and exciting tours. But we were just happy taking a click of the Sindbad's ship dream come true.

"South beach & Ocean Drive"

As you pass over from Biscayne bay to South beach, discover the Miami's favorite pastime, people watching:

-Lincoln road-

Browse through hundreds of stores, restaurants and cafes on the open-aire Lincoln Road Mall.

Plus we made the most of the offer order one german beer mug, get another free. Ignore the glass in my hand, that was for show ;)

Surprisingly we found our gods' portrait walking down the Miami street. Walking on the street is really so fun here, the more i peeped into the window shops, i could not stop clicking.

"Chelsea, the hotel we stayed"

Why we stayed here?

if you want to bathe in miami sun then this hotel is two blocks from Ocean drive and walking distance to the south beach famous night clubs.
