A walk in Times square, New York

I am in love with New York and yearn to own a house in Manhattan. I even dream about getting job in the Times Square's most classy architecture, the Chrysler building.  The job shall not be a tedious regime but a worship. Ahem, I guess, this love has taken a turn to an obsession. On early spring morning of 2013 when the weather forecast bared with an exultant sunny label, I and hubby knew it was the chance. Sunny days seldom happens to us in USA and this was a call from NYC. We boarded the 11am train from Stamford to Grand central.

Auspiciously on that day the station turned 100 years pretty and old.  With star dotting ceiling we were excited to celebrate the triumph of the landmark and begin the walk of the day.

I never stop looking back and admire the Chrysler shining through the buoyant sunlight.

And then i wonder if migratory birds are way luckiest than we humans. You know what I mean.

We never rent a cab in New York, we just flow with the impatient yet energetic crowd. Walking is in itself a pride here. One can never stop marveling at every direction wherever their eyes take them to. Every lane ends with a story and every crossing begins with a new one.

Even if we were aware our legs are sore, we had to avoid this Yorkie Tuk Tuk, to prevent shelling fat bucks.

A few more walk and we finally land our destination. A lot was going on in the square to jot it down here. On one side was a Texas theme with cow girls baring themselves in nude and on other some pilgrims chanting Hare ram Hare Krishna. A fantasy world with superhero and cartoon mascots to performers dressed in monsters and devil; Times Square, i could now see it like a pizza.

It has all the slices of the world and you choose where to fit and entertain yourself. The best part is no one is judged here and no age distinction is made.

I had my own slice and paid a dollar or two to take pic with my favorite statue of liberty mascot.

Now that you are acquainted to my love for New York, you should not wait either to make a plan to land in the city that never sleeps.

Thanks Ani, for giving me this wonderful walk with amazing Picture album to share with all.
